[WORK IN PROGRESS]

In my post grad time well under-spent, I decided to do a project and asked friends to give me brands to work with.

Each ad was thought up, designed, and executed in under one hour.

Due to lack of time, most images are from the internet. Credit given.
10/9/2012; Nasa; 46 minutes

Thought process: Play on words with cool image might work well with a Nasa ad in a science magazine. This could also work for an observatory or science exploration museum.

Taglines for various observatories: "Come explore." "Open your eyes." "And beyond."

10/10/2012; Roxy; 52 minutes

Thought process: The Roxy brand for snow gear is popular among girls and young women. This ad just reiterates their brand position to bring in a new wave of young consumers. The pixellation in the upper left hand corner can be used throughout for a "Generation" campaign (mimicking the internet/computer age).

10/15/2012; Vans; 40 minutes

Thought process: I call it a "play in words"...

Also, I love brackets.

Other copy I've come up with:
Discover [e] motion.
Engage in f [l] ight.

10/23/2012; Pabst Blue Ribbon; 38 minutes

Thought process: I was a bartender, these are things that annoyed me. I thought adding an old school touch would make for an interesting campaign. You can change the slogan based on the irritating things that bartenders hate. Kind of a "Don't piss off the bartender.. just order a PBR."

Photographer: Me; Model: Kat Neubrand

Size: 4"x6"
10/29/2012; Shutterfly; 48 minutes

Thought process: My dad works for Shutterfly and has an employee discount. As I was looking around, I saw that new members get free prints. I wanted to show that new members got free prints by "giving" them little examples of work.

Graphics by me.
